Our History
When National Safety Recruitment was founded in April 2004, an emphasis towards Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace was becoming more prominent than ever before. Employers were becoming increasingly more aware of the importance of implementing Health & Safety initiatives to provide the safest workplace possible for their employees. In more recent times the corporate sector has begun to understand and act on the importance of protecting and preserving our precious environment.
Co-Founder and Director, Matthew Annear recognised this increasing trend and the need for skilled OH&S, Environmental, WorkCover & Workplace Rehabilitation professionals to assist employers in achieving these initiatives. As a result, in April 2004 Matthew founded a company called CRC Group. Matthew's concept, which was based on providing unique specialist recruitment services to industries, resulted in the rapid growth of the company, proving that the need for OH&S, Environmental, WorkCover & Workplace Rehabilitation Professionals was indeed in demand.
The continual expansion led to the company name being changed in 2009 to National Safety Recruitment to reflect their position within the marketplace as Australia's leading provider of recruitment services to the Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, WorkCover & Workplace Rehabilitation sectors. National Safety Recruitment now operates both Australia wide and services clients internationally.
